MSK-USP-SP-LD is a 1.7 MHz Ultrasonic Particle Generator with a digitally controlled infusion syringe pump and a temperature controller. It can be used in line with MTI Tubing Furnaces to form a versatile synthetic system for nanostructured oxide materials.

System Features
  • A 316 Stainless Steel liquid container is equipped with a fluoropolymer sealing ring and a heating tape
  • 1.7 MHz ultrasonic generator
  • 3 levels of power output ( low, middle, high)
  • Droplet size: < 10 microns, which is dependent on the viscosity of solution, ultrasonic frequency, gas speed.
  • Continuous mode and timed mode can be set. For timed mode, time can be adjusted from 30 minutes to 180 minutes
  • The quick clamps allow easy removal of components for cleaning or adapting the device with simple connections to the gas supply
  • A liquid injection pump is included and equipped to inject automatically which comes with a 60 ml plastic syringe. 
Digital Syringe Pump
  • Holds small or big syringes from 10 uL to 60 mL
  • Pumps continuously until you stop the pump
  • The infusion rate can be changed while pumping
  • Remembers previous settings on power-up
  • Power failure mode allows the pump to continue pumping after a reset
  • Displays total volume dispensed in mL or µL units
  • The pumping rate range:6.1um/min - 120um/min
  • The pumping rates are various from 3.9uL/min to 76.5mL/min upon the sizes of syringe
  • Precise reproducible flow rates
  • Selectable infusion rate units: mL/hr, µL/hr, mL/min, µL/min
  • Infuses Only, does not withdraw, volume target, or have a computer interface
  • An infusion Syringe Pump with an optional Heatable Glass Syringe is available at an extra cost

Temperature Controller

  • The controller uses PID via SSR power control
  • Single-point setting controller
  • Over-temperature protection and alarm allow for operation without attendant(s).
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  •  A K-type thermocouple with 3mm OD x 4" L is included in the standard package.
