MSK-SFM1-TS (upgraded from EQ-SFM-1) is a touch screen programmable Planetary Ball Mill designed for mixing, fine grinding, and preparing small volume high-tech material production, which features small volume, high efficiency, low noise, and Lock clamps
. MSK-SFM1-TS is compatible with mixing jar volumes ranging from 250 to 500 mL, and it can accommodate up to four mixing jars each time.
A high-throughput milling jar is available for milling 32 tubes of sample (Max. Volume 25mL) per batch. If choosing an optional vacuum jar, it can grind samples under the vacuum condition or be filled with inert gas. The product is extensively used in the fields of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Electronics, Construction Material, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Light Industry, Medicine, Environmental Protection, etc. h.

Milling Jars (Not included in the standard package)
500mL Nylon Jar (optional)
|
- Jars and balls are available at an extra cost.
- Various optional jars and balls are listed below, up to 500mL.
- 4 sets of Jar with o-ring sealing are recommended for most materials. Please be advised that you may pre-milling material to form a coating on the inner wall of the jar to avoid contamination from jar to sample
- Four jar holders and clamps can accommodate jar sizes up to 107mm O.D x 112mm H
- 8x25ml Hi-throughput Jar is available upon request, which can mill 32 samples per batch via 4 jars )
- Note: How to achieve finer or desired particles via ball mill is a research project, which is depended on the material to be mixed, grinding time and speed, combination of grinding jar and milling ball, etc. It is your responsibility to find the best milling procedure based on your material. Welcome you come to MTI lab at California to do the test before purchase
- Maximum Sample Loading Volume: 75% volume of Mixing Jar volume (included the volume of milling balls)
|
Sample Granularity |
- Suggested the sample granularity ≤ 2 mm. Prior to ball milling, grind the sample and sieve it to achieve the required particle size.
|
Compliance |
- CE Certified
- NRTL certification is available at an extra cost
|
Application Notes |
- Must place 4 jars or 2 in symmetrical with similar weight in the ball mill to keep balance during rotation, If using one jar, you must put another jar with the same weight in a symmetrical position. Otherwise, unbalance rotation, especially one jar, may damage the machine
- For optimal ball milling performance, MTI highly recommends the sample diameter to be less than 2.0mm. It is highly advised to use a 20-meh sieve to filter sample prior to ball milling
- If you need a forced-air cooling jar for some ductile materials, please click the picture below to order a Portable Spot Air Cooling Conditioner, which will keep the milling jar's temperature below 30°C
- Please consider our SYU-3 Ultrasonic Filtration System for filtering the product
