OTF-1200X-VIII-80 is an Eight-zone 3" ID  split tube furnace with a separated touch screen temperature control unit and max working temperature of 1100oC. This eight-zone furnace can create a step thermal gradient or long constant temperature zone up to 60" within +/- 0.5ºC by adjusting the seven zone temperature. The furnace is installed with 100 OD x 92 ID x 2700 mm L ( mm) quartz tube and Ait-tight flange, and also can accept various processing tubes from 1" to 4".

  • Double-layer steel case with air cooling to ensure furnace surface temperature < 60 °C
  • Energy-saving high purity fibrous alumina insulation.
  • Heating Element: high-quality Fe-Cr-Al Alloy doped by Mo
  • 86 " length x 5.5"dia heating chamber with 8 heating zone and 8 built-in thermal couples to accept processing tubes from 1" - 4" dia.x2700 mm length
  • The splittable cover is lifted and closed by a pair of heavy-duty compressed air springs to make tube replacement easy.

  • Custom fitting is as request from customer ( 1/4NPT only , without valve )


Heating Zone
  • Eight independent heating zones:
    Left and right heating zone length: 200 mm each and the rest heating zone length 150 mm each
  • Total zone length: 60" ( 1500 mm ) ( Including spacers between heating zone)
  • Max. Constant temperature zone 60" ( 1500 mm ) if 8 zones heated at the same temperature ( within +/- 5°C)


Temperature Controllers
 
 
  • One touch screen digital temperature controller built-in a separated unit, which can control seven heating zones independently
  • Each channel is PID automatically controlled and saves 10 programs and each program has max. 30 segments
  • Built-in overheating & broken thermocouple protection.
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  • Eight K-type thermocouples (one for each zone).
  • RS485 Communications Port built-in. and software included, 
  • The furnace may be operated by PC ( please order PC separately ).

  • The tube furnaces with quartz/mullite tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bar

  • The flow rate for gases should be limited to<200 SCCM (or 200ml/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube
