SPG-50K-25AB-GB is an automatic induction melting and casting system inside a dual-chamber glove. It can melt and cast 10 samples per batch within 8 hours once the crucibles and molds are put into the antechamber of the glovebox.
If combining an AGV to load and unload a sample tray, the system can work 24/7 automatically for high throughput of the discovery of new generation complex alloys.

|
| Operation control |
The processing procedure is controlled by a computer as follows:
- The outside door of the antechamber opens
- Put the crucible and casting mold in the antechamber manually or AGV
- After vacuum and inert gas purging, the robotic arm put crucible tray in a station
- Put a crucible into the induction coil, and start heating and stirring after melting
- After melting, open the heater cover, tilt the crucible, let melt cast into a water-cooled mold
- Put the mold back in the tray station, then repeat the melting cost
- Roughly need 50 minutes to finish one sample
