AM-YLJ-8T is an automated pellet press that automates pressing die assembling, pellet press, die dissembling, and pellet retrieval. This compact, glovebox-friendly unit is programmable via an LCD touchscreen and compatible with various types of powder in a fast and accurate manner for powder palletization. The modular design can be used solely for 6 samples per batch or pairs with automated MTI materials preparation system for autonomous experiments. The free software advances instrumental communication and data acquisition.

Operation procedures
  • Program operation procedure in PC or touchscreen - including pressing pressure and holding time
  • Manually load powders into 6 pressing dies. and start the program. 
  • The system 
    • Place the top plunger
    • Move the pressing die for pressing and dwelling at the setting pressure
    • Take out the sample via a demolding process 
    • Place the bottom core into a holding tray
    • Place the sample inside a clean plastic cup. 
  • Throughput: 60 minutes per 6 samples.
