CIP20D (updated from CIP15-DIE) is a complete CIP Die Set for Cold Isostatic Press. It has a 22mm ID hydraulic chamber made by ultra-strength alloy, which can provide isostatic pressure up to 400 MPa via a hydraulic press. It is an excellent tool to prepare high-density compound pellets and a small diameter rod.

Application Notes
  • You may use the liquid rubber to seal the sample to be CIP ( click Pic.1 to order). Check this link to understand liquid rubber for sample preparation. 
  • You may use a small vacuum sealer to seal the sample before CIP inside a glovebox to avoid air contamination ( Click Pic. 2 to order)
  • You may use the machine as a dry pressing to order pressing die (click Pic below right)

Warning
  • Never let the press hold the target pressure be longer than 8 minutes,
  • It's normal that the target pressure decreases a little bit during the pressure holding time, so never press the red nor the green button in this period.
  • Pressure must be completely released first, then make sure the handwheel and the pressure release valve has been tightened before pressing
  • If you order the die only and using your own press machine, , MTI is not responsible for the safety
