GSL-800X-MH100 is a tube furnace with 100 mm ID x 700mm height heating zone designed to use under a high magnetic field with a controlled atmosphere up to 800°C. It is an ideal tool to research materials properties under high magnetic field conditions. ( > 10 T)

  • SS316 non-magnetic austenitic furnace case
  • Dual spiral-wound heating elements to minimize Lorentz force.
  • Water-cooled furnace case with surface temperature < 70 °C
  • Minimum bore size of magnets Ø200 mm
  • A steel rigger is included on top of the tube for easy lifting

  • The dual spiral-wound heating coil is made of Mo resistance wire 
  • Only use under an inert gas atmosphere!

  • A pair of SS316 flanges for hermetic operation.

  • Consumable parts, such as graphite dies, O-rings, crucibles, screws, washers, glassware, etc.
  • Any damage and rust resulting from improper storage or maintenance.
  • Any damages caused by the use of corrosive and acidic gases.
  • Any damage resulting from failing to adhere to the individual product's specific operation requirements, such as water cooling, venting, etc.
