• Full tube covers and flange fixtures to avoid hydrogen hazards in case of emergency or explosion. 

• One Honeywell UL-approved sense point gas detector is Integrated into the system.

• Alarm Point: H2 Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) is set at 20%. Once H2 gas is detected beyond the limit, it will cut off the hydrogen source, turn off the heating elements, and purge nitrogen.
• Power outage protection: if the furnace encounters a power outage, hydrogen source and heating elements will be cut off, and start to flow nitrogen.

•  Two 1/4" compression tube fittings for both inert and flammable gas.

• Attention: A free training of safety operation at MTI is required to purchase this furnace. Training at the customer's facility is also available upon request at an extra cost. If users believe that they have sufficient experience and knowledge to handle the furnace in the dangerous or emergent situation, a liability release agreement must be signed at the purchase. • Tube furnaces with quartz tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.12 atm (absolute pressure)
• The flow rate for gases should be limited to < 200 SCCM for reducing thermal shocks to the tube
