MSK-800-TE9002 is an economic nail penetration tester for all types of rechargeable batteries, which meets the CE standards. The nail penetration is performed inside a safe and vented stainless-steel test chamber using a 2~8 mm diameter steel nail at variable speed from 10~100mm/s. A dedicated fixture for tightening various types of cells, such as pouches or cylinders is installed in the test chamber. This is an essential tool for advanced research on rechargeable batteries.

  • The driving force is adjustable by the air cylinder valve
  • Digital Display for impact force and speed on the control panel
  • Minimum 0.4 MPa (58 psi) air compressor with 2 gallons tank is required to drive the machine 
    • (Air Compressor is not included, please order it locally or order separately by clicking underlined)
  • Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator (pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn about the installation of a gas regulator
