SPC-1 is a compact evaporating coater with a rotary sample stage and a separate power supply unit. It is designed for coating carbon and metallic film on SEM samples up to 2" in diameter.

Application Notes |
- For long-term usage, the working current should be kept below 40A
- For evaporating materials with a low vapor rate, a 30A working current is good enough
- In order to get a better vacuum and less oxygen, suggest using 5%H2+ 95% N2 to the purging chamber 2-3 times before coating.
