GSL-1200X-MGI-8 is a compact 8 channels tube furnace with 20mm O.D. and sealing flange for high throughput heat treatment research of alloy and ceramic material up to 1200°C. t is an excellent tool to research phase diagrams in MGI new generation material.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace Structure
  • The furnace consists of 8 small tube furnace modules with quartz tube 20mm O.D. x 17mm I.D. x 192mm L 
  • Each heating module is separated by insulation material with air cooling layer, no temperature influence each other
  • Each heating module's temperature is controlled independently up to 1200°C
  • Quick seal flange, vacuum gauge, and flow meter are installed to allow heat treatment under vacuum or flowing gas
  • Processing 8 samples with different temperatures at compact space 
  • The furnace system consists of two units: a furnace and a transformer box

Processing Tube & Flange

  • 8 High purity Quartz tubes with 20mm O.D. x 17mm I.D. x 192mm L are included
  • 8 Quickly clamped flange with 1/8 gas inlet and outlet, as well as vacuum ports are built-in (see pic below)
  • 16 needle valves are optional to connect to the gas inlet and outlet for gas flow control
  • 8 vacuum ports in the back will be connected to the vacuum pump via 8 to 1 adaptor
  • Only one vacuum pump is required via a KF25 port. Click the picture below to choose a vacuum pump
  • Max. Vacuum 10^-2 torr by a mechanical pump and 10^-5 torr by turbopump

  • 8 channel heating tube is controlled independently by 30 segments programmable temperature controller

  • PC control software is included, which can control 8 channel heaters by one Laptop

  • Labview-Based Temperature Control System (MTS01)enables the user to edit temperature profiles, manage heat-treatment recipes, and record and plot data for MTI furnaces.
  • A wireless remote control provides up to 300 meters of operating range.
Gas Manifold (Optional)
  • Gas flow control is at an extra cost. 
  • MTI recommends using the following 8-channel gas delivery systme for individual gas control. 
  • If vacuum is desired, please contact MTI for more information.
