• Storage: Li Metal must be stored in vacuum box or inert gas glove box. If you don;t have, please order one below. MTI is not responsible for improperly stored.
• Package must be open inside a glove box with Argon Gas and moisture less than 2%RH.
• The lithium chips were packed in the dry room with <2%RH. Therefore, slight increase of O2 PPM level might be seen in the glove box when the can is opened. Please keep purging the glove box with ultra-high purity Ar until required O2 PPM level is reached.
• Lithium Chip is very easy to oxidize during handling and storage. if you find any oxidation on a surface of Li-chip, please use sand paper remove it before use
• Clean the surface of the lithium foil using a nylon brush/stainless steel scalpel until a shiny silvery surface appears (inside an argon glovebox).
