MSK-H2300-E150 is an electric hot rolling press with a maximum the working temperature of 150°C and Max. the pressure of 30T. The 300mm wide rollers (HRC60) allow the process of various materials such as battery electrodes, plastic media, soft metal, and composite foils. The built-in hydraulic pressure regulating system provides stable pressure control over the entire calendaring process. It is an ideal tool to increase material density and achieve better surface quality.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Features
|
- PLC control system simplifies HMI. A large touchscreen panel controls pressure, rolling speed, temperature, and data logging.
- The pneumatic pressure regulating system ensures stable pressure during operation.
- Rolling thickness is adjustable up to 3 mm
- The optional R2R system enables continuous hot rolling substrate rolls for calendaring and lamination.

Application Notes
|
Important announcement (please read this before placing the order)
- Must use ethanol or acetone to clean the rollers' surface after each use and keep it dry.
- Never roll material with hardness > 60HRC
- If the machine will be idle for a long period, please apply anti-rust lubricant on the rollers
- The minimum thickness of the rolled sheet should depend on the physical properties of the material. Here are some results from our test:
- Please refer to this instruction on how to calculate rolling pressure from roller gap (reference only)
|
Compliance |
- CE Certified
- NRTL certificate is available upon request at extra cost.
|
Warnings |
- Do not touch the surface of the rolling part of the machine when the rollers are heated up or running.
- Due to the influence of working environments, the temperature on the roller surface may be different from the display on the controller. You may calibrate the temperature by TC-calibrator-LD, and refer to the instructions here from time to time to ensure heating temperature accuracy
- Never roll materials with hardness > 60HRC
- Multi-step thickness calendaring needed: While calendaring the sample sheet, make each calendaring decrement of 0.02mm compared with the sheet's original thickness.
- Never calendaring decrement over 0.02mm compared with original sheet thickness each calendaring.
- Heating beyond 120ºC will cause roller deformation and may yield results with imperfections. In order to prolong the lifespan of the roller bearings, regular lubrication is recommended.
- Clean the roller surface for each rolling with acetone and lubricate when not in use to avoid corrosion
-
It is not allowed to use any MTI product in any hazardous location, especially prohibited from using in Class I environments (flammable gasses & vapor).
