MSK-HT-64 is a 16-channel high-throughput automatic crimper for CR2016, CR2025, and CR2032 coin cells. It can process 16 coin cells within 15 minutes with pre-loaded components. The crimping system is controlled by a computer to achieve consistent results for 16 cells per batch and quickly explore the best battery material. The device shall be used in a dry -room and also can be used inside a glovebox

- 110 or 240V AC (50/60Hz) selectable, single phase, 300W total.
- If you use the machine in the Ar gas glovebox, you shall order KF40 feedthrough from us to put the switching power supply in the outside glovebox to avoid arcing burning.

Operation

- One Laptop computer is included, which controls all operations with a dedicated software
- Four pieces of module tray with dimensions 265mm ×232 mm are included. Each tray can pre-load 16 sets of coin cell components, such as case & spring, cathode, separator, anode disc, and cover.
- The manipulator will pick up the component of the coin cell and put it into a crimping die in sequence
- The electric syringe pump will automatically inject electrolytes with +/- 0.001% accuracy.
- The electric crimper will seal the coin cell in the desired pressure
- 16 coin cells will be put back into the tray after being sealed
- Assembling speed: ~120 seconds per cell ( 30 cells/ hr )
- Consistency: > 95%

- Assembling die (made of hardening steel) for crimping CR2032, CR2025, & CR2016 coin cells (Optional CR2325, and CR2450 die sets are available upon request).

Pressure

- Pressure adjustment range: 0 - 1.4 metric tons chotrolled by precision load cell
- The recommended assembling pressure for CR20XX coin cells should be over 0.8T for MTI's CR2032 cases. Please find the desired pressure by experiment.
