MSK-180-N is a precision semi-automatic die cutter for pouch cell electrode sheets (Max. 200mm L x 200mm W).
It is an upgraded version of MSK-180, providing improved stability and higher precision in reducing the burr formation and powder shedding on electrodes. A glovebox-compatible version is also available。
A necessary tool in the production line of pouch cells to produce specific shapes of cathodes and anodes with current collector tabs. The size of the electrodes it cuts perfectly matches the standard pouches made by the MSK-120 cups forming machine, and the shape of the electrodes it produces is also handy for the later processing steps of tab welding by MSK-800 and electrode stacking by MSK-111A. The IR sensor (Safety Curtain) built in the front of the machine ensures operation safety when electrode sheets are fed from the front.
