SrTiO₃ single crystal provides a good lattice match to most materials with Perovskite structure. It is an excellent substrate for epitaxial growth of HTS and many oxide thin films. SrTiO3 single crystal has also been used widely for special optical windows and as high quality sputtering target. MTI has the full production line to manufacture first the high purity SrTiO3 powder, then the single crystal boules and finally the epi-polished substrates in many sizes. • Size:         5x5x 0.5mm  +/-0.05mm
• Orientation:   (100) +/-0.5 Deg
• Edge orietation Indication:   <001> +/-2 Deg avaiable as option with extra cost
• Polish:           EPI polished by CMP tecnology with less sub-surface lattice damage. 
• Pack:         Packed in 100 grade plastic bag under 1000 class clean room.

Note 

STO is grown by the flame fused method ( Vernue ).  So crystal perfection is not as good as the crystal grown by CZ, each substrate's Rocking curve may be different.   Please always check STO substrate before growing the film.  To understand why to please click " How to grow SrTiO3 crystal " In order to keep the cost low, we did not check XRD for each substrate. However, if you need us to check the substrate rocking curve for you, please let us know before order, we can do so at the extra cost.
