SrTiO3 single crystal provides a good lattice match to most materials with a perovskite structure. It is an excellent substrate for epitaxial growth of HTS and many oxide thin films. SrTiO3 single crystal is also widely used for special optical windows and as a high-quality sputtering target.
MTI has a full production line for manufacturing high-purity SrTiO3 powder, single crystal boules, and EPI-polished substrates in many sizes.

Note: SrTiO3 is grown by the Verneuil flame-fusion method. Crystal perfection may therefore vary between substrates, and the rocking curve may differ from substrate to substrate. Please inspect the SrTiO3 substrate before growth.
XRD is not routinely performed on every substrate in order to keep costs low. If rocking-curve measurement is required, please request it before ordering. Additional charges may apply.
