OTF1200XSVTC4 is a vertical tube furnace with a separated 4-channel gas flow and precision temperature station, which is designed for testing a small fuel cell ( 20 mm diameter up to 800ºC to develop new generation fuel cell material quickly and cost-effectively.

  Flanges & Tubes
  ( Fuel Cell Fixture)


  • Φ20 mm small fuel cell ( customer provided) will be placed between tubes and flanges on the top and bottom  ( Pic. left )
  • Two tube sets consist of a dual-layer structure (Pic. 1) 
    • Outside tube: Alumina  20 OD X 16 ID x 260 Lmm) x 2 sets
    • Inside tube:     Quartz:  14 OD X 10 ID x 300 L  (mm) x 2 sets
  • Two flanges are connected to the tube sets with ports of the gas inlet and outlet and PTFE wires sealed top (Pic. 2)
  • The tube set will be fixed on the frame of the furnace and apply pressure to a fuel cell. (Pic. 3)
  • The included high-temperature adhesive will apply the gap between two tubes to ensure gas flow with air-tight. (Pic. 4)

      Vertical Furnace
      
  • A compact Split-able furnace with 2 heating zones is installed on a mobile frame vertically.
  • Power: AC110V or AC220 V is availbale, 1.5 KW.  
  • Working Temperature:  Continuous: 1000oC, Max. 1200°C, 1 hrs
  • Heating Zone Length:   2x 100 mm ( 200 mm total)
  • Constemperature zone:  65 mm with +/- 1oC
  •  Heating rate:  20 °C.minute
  • Temperature accuracy: +/- 1oC
  • Two independent temperature controllers with 30-segment programmable
  • Optional: Two furnaces on one frame are available upon request at an extra cost.

Gas Delivery station

  • Temperature and gas delivery control is located on a separate mobile cart via a touchscreen panel
  • Temperature control: 30 segment programmable with +/- 1oC accuracy
  • Four-channel MFC gas flow control with an accuracy of ±1.5% F.S
    • Two MFC 100 SCCM max
    • Two MFC  200 SCCM Max.
    • Working temperature; 5~45ºC 
  • Warning: If you use flammable to test the fuel cell,  you must add an automatic burner and a gas leaking detector to ensure safety ( click the picture below to order )
         Accessories
  • Accessories included:
    • Two sets of flange and alumina+ quartz tubes are included with O-rings
    • Two ss316 wires are included to connect to a metallic mesh disc (20 mm dia.)
  • Accessories not included and provided by the customer or optional
    • Au or Pt wire to connect the fuel cell in the center 
    • Two metallic mess to contact to a fuel cell  ( optional for SS316 )
