YLJ-CIP-500M is a manual cold isostatic pressing (CIP) device operated via a manual hydraulic pump up to 500 Mpa. Two sets of the CIP vessel and press are available to choose from: 30 mm vessel with 40T press and 50 mm vessel with 40T. It is an excellent tool for material research to prepare high-density compounds and ceramics, compared to dry die pressing.

Vessel Pressure
|
- 0 - 500 MPa
- For calculating the actual pressure (MPa) applied to your working piece, please follow the equations below:
- P = T x g x 10 / (π x r^2 )
- P: Actual pressure (Mpa) on the working piece
- T: Actual force (metric ton) applied on the pressure vessel cylinder
- g: gravitational acceleration of earth g ≈ 9.8 m/s2
- π: ~3.14
- r: Radius (cm) of the Pressure Vessel (1.5 or 2.5 cm)

Application Notes |
- You may use the liquid rubber to seal the sample to be CIP ( click Pic below to order ). Check this link to understand liquid rubber for sample preparation. ( Pic. 1)
- Also, you may use a chamber vacuum sealer to seal the sample before CIP ( Pic. 2)
- In order to get a high density of the sample, you shall press pre-pressing a pellet, then CIP ( Pic. 3)

Warning
|
- The Max. pressure the mold can handle is 85T, please do NOT exceed it
- Never let the press holding the target pressure for more than 1 hour
- It's normal that the target pressure decreases a little bit during the pressure holding time
- Pressure must be completely released first, then make sure the handwheel and the pressure release valve has been tightened before pressing
- Do not raise the bottom cylinder (piston) more than it's maximum traveling distance (30mm)
