 SPS-1200X is a low-temperature & low-cost SPS furnace with up to 1200oC and 100 MPa Pressure. It is designed to press a 6 - 15 mm diameter pellet for most battery, thermal electric, and metallic materials.


SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace Power 
  • 208 - 240 VAC, 50/60Hz, single phase
  • 10 kW
Pressure & Pressing Die
  • Precision servo motor to apply load to graphite die up to 2000 Kgf
  • PID control pressure to provide constant pressure with +/- 0.5 Kg accuracy
  • One graphite die with ID of 6 - 15 mm is included
  • Max. pressure of graphite die: 100 MPa
Vacuum Chamber
  • The vacuum chamber is made of stainless steel
  • Vacuum Chamber: Ø315 mm × 315 mm (inner dimension)
  • One Ø120 mm quartz observation window. 
  • One KF25 and one KF40 vacuum port are built at the back of the chamber
  • DN160 ISO-K port is built on the left of the chamber for connection of a turbopump
  • Two KF16 and a KF25 port on the top of the chamber for a vacuum meter or other devices
Temperature Control
  • Resistance heating at 10VAC up to 1000A
  • K-type thermal couple 
  • 30-segment programmable temperature controller with +/- 1oC accuracy
  • Touch screen panel to control both temperature, vacuum level, and temperature
  • RS485 port and software are included for PC operation and recording temperature and pressure profile
Water Chiller 
Optional:
  • Automatic operation, door open, robotic arm picking up graphite mold, and pushing a pellet out os available upon request
